Moving On

After a lot of prayer and waiting, Rusty and I are excited to be starting another adventure... Rusty has accepted a call to be the Pastor of Student and Discipleship Ministries at Bentonville Church of the Nazarene and we'll be moving to Bentonville, Arkansas on November 16 in time to be introduced at the church's combined Thanksgiving service and potluck.
We just got back to Clovis after a week's visit and we really enjoyed it. We are excited about the beautiful mid-sized community as well as the church, who really displayed their heart to grow deeper with God and to love and serve their neighbors. We weren't looking for a church or home in Arkansas but we firmly believe that God has directed us there and we are excited to go.
Rusty will officially begin on November 22. I am filling out paperwork for an Arkansas teaching license and will look for a teaching position but assume that I will need to sub first, at least for now.
So, that's our news for now! Thank you all for your support and prayer during this time of transition. We have been so blessed to have the family and friends that we do.
