On June 3, I got to travel to Denver for my dear friend Tiffany's graduation from seminary. We taught together in Kansas City and she has since made the journey to get her M. Div. in Denver. I was so proud and honored to watch her walk across the stage and celebrate with her friends and family. Tiffany and her husband David are also expecting their first child in July, and I was super excited to help her get ready for Baby Milo.
Rusty came up after a few days and we had a sweet time exploring Lake Dillon and Breckenridge together. We also made memories with David and Tiff at a VERY rainy Rockies game and, as always, doing some quality eating.
On our last night in town we went to visit Rusty's uncle Steven and his precious daughters, Kara and China. They made us a tasty spread and we had a wonderful time catching up.
This was really our first time away since Rusty took his first full time pastoring job, and with me teaching full time, we're experiencing a new kind of busy. It was a great blessing to get away, regroup, and spend some time with people we love.

The lake and mountains look so amazing!
I must say you looked a bit miserable at the game.
It was SO special to have you here for graduation and baby preparation. I'm glad Rusty could come too--y'all got a much-deserved break! Love you both. Come back soon...
