Open Doors

I am thrilled to share that after much prayer and semi-patient waiting, Rusty and I finally have the "open door" we've been praying for here in Scotland.  Rusty has been offered an associate pastoring position at a church in Glasgow, the largest city in Scotland.  The church is in need of someone with creative ministry ideas to reach out to the hundreds of unchurched community members who use the building each week (as well as the local universities).  We have accepted with great enthusiasm and are looking forward to being of service while we're here.  This position will mean that Rusty will commute to school 1-2 days a week, but the train is very convenient and we are confident that this is where God is leading us.  The coming days and weeks will reveal the details, and we are still looking for housing and a job for me, but it is so exciting to see things start to unfold.  Thanks for your continued prayers and support...
